The MBA & Executive MBA New Student Bursary

The MBA & EMBA New Student Bursary provides a CAD $3,000 (Canadian dollars) tuition bursary. 

The bursary is available only to new students enrolling in the Master of Business Administration (MBA) or Executive MBA (EMBA) program for a start in September 2026.  

A new student is defined as an individual who has not previously been enrolled in an MBA or EMBA program at the University of Fredericton. 

Students must start their program in September 2026 to be eligible. 

Applicants must submit the required bursary application form (link) by the August 7, 2026, application deadline.  

The bursary is awarded once per eligible student. 

The bursary will be applied to eligible students' tuition on a proportional, per-course basis, reducing the total tuition over the duration of the program. 

The bursary applies to tuition only and does not cover any other non-tuition fees. 

The bursary cannot be combined with any other University of Fredericton bursary, tuition discount, or financial award.  

Students who defer their admission to a future intake are not eligible to retain this bursary.  

Students who withdraw from the program will receive the bursary only for eligible courses completed. 

The bursary may only be applied to tuition amounts owing and cannot be redeemed for cash, transferred to another student or program, or issued as a refund. 

The bursary cannot be applied retroactively to tuition or fees paid before September 2026. 

The University of Fredericton reserves the right to amend, suspend, or discontinue the bursary, including its eligibility criteria, value, or terms and conditions, at its discretion.
