Fredericton, N.B., Canada; April 30, 2025 — Graduates from the Manitoba Institute of Trades and Technology (MITT) now build on their education and take the next step toward earning a fully online degree through a new academic pathway with the University of Fredericton (UFred).
About the partnership
This new pathway lets eligible MITT students transfer existing credits into UFred’s Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program, helping them fast-track their degree and save time, money, and effort along the way. The partnership underscores a shared commitment to providing career-relevant education and creating flexible learning opportunities for working professionals and recent graduates alike.

This pathway is a formal agreement between UFred and MITT that recognizes prior learning through curriculum alignment and credit transfer, reducing duplication and increasing program efficiency. With this agreement, MITT graduates can transition into UFred’s online learning environment, confident that their education will be recognized and valued.
