Partnerships

Students interested in consulting can take advantage of our partnership with CMC-Canada. With several courses within the regular curriculum recognized as equivalent, UFred students will have a head start on achieving their CMC designation.  

Students completing the Consulting Leadership specialty stream of our MBA and EMBA programs will meet three of the four educational area requirements for CMC designation: 

• Essentials of Management Consulting met by completion of CL 8080, CL 8081, and CL 8082 

• Project Management met by any of CL 8081, CL 8082 or IP 6999/8999 

• Personal/Interpersonal Skills met by either CL 8082 or IP 6999/8999

As a FITT skills partner, the University of Fredericton is authorized to deliver FITT’s international business courses (FITTskills) as part of the Bachelor of Business Administration – International Business Stream program.

Students registered in this program can earn credits towards the FITT Diploma in International Trade by completing the FITTskills assessment for each applicable course. 

Health and Safety Professionals Canada has partnered with the University of Fredericton to develop the Health and Safety Leadership specialty stream of our MBA and EMBA programs. Our shared goal is to ensure people make it home safely at the end of every day thanks to strong leadership. 

Through this partnership, Lambton College students can enroll in the Certificate in Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Systems (COHSES) program. This self-paced online program provides a pathway to becoming an established OHS professional. 

Select diploma programs from Lambton College also offer graduates academic pathways to receive advanced standing in the MBA and EMBA programs. 

Graduates from Conestoga College can take the next step in their education through an academic pathway with the University of Fredericton. This pathway allows eligible Conestoga College students to receive advanced standing from their previous education in our MBA program, helping fast-track the degree. 

Eligible MITT students may transfer existing credits into our Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) program to save time, money and effort along the way.

Great Plains College is focused on meeting the educational needs of learners, employees and communities in Saskatchewan. Through this partnership, students at Great Plains College get a discount on our COHSES program. 

UFred graduates may transfer their college credits, certificate hours and diploma credits to Columbia Southern University and continue working toward a bachelor’s degree in a variety of degree fields.

Our students and graduates receive a 10% tuition discount at CSU and they also qualify for exclusive scholarship opportunities.
