Course schedule & details

Choose the study track and certification that matches your current profile and where you want to take your career.


Certificate: The courses offered in this track are based on independent learning – you decide when to study during the week, and there are no classes to attend. However, you will be required to meet assignment deadlines and finish your courses on time.


Diploma: You’ll attend recurring virtual classroom (vClass) sessions, once per week. The rest of your studies are done on your own schedule, but you’ll have plenty of opportunities to work alongside your professors and fellow students.

The UFred School of Occupational Health & Safety (OHS)

Our OHS School offers an online Associate Degree, courses, certificate and diploma program options, allowing you to get certification and position yourself as a capable occupational safety practitioner.
