University of Fredericton's Associate Degree in Occupational Health and Safety accredited by ABET

Fredericton, New Brunswick, Canada; October 10, 2024 — The University of Fredericton’s (UFred’s) Associate Degree in Occupational Health and Safety (AOHS) program in their School of Occupational Health and Safety has been accredited by the Applied and Natural Science Accreditation Commission of ABET (www.abet.org) — the global accreditor of college and university programs in applied and natural science, computing, engineering, and engineering technology.


ABET accreditation assures that programs meet standards to produce graduates ready to enter critical technical fields that are leading the way in innovation and emerging technologies as well as anticipating the welfare and safety needs of the public.
