Course structure and details
The courses offered in this program are a mix of independent learning with fixed schedules and instructor led courses with required weekly virtual classes (vClasses). vClasses take place in the evening between Monday and Thursday, starting at 6:00 p.m. EST at the earliest.
Your road to CRST certification
If you’re looking to become a certified Canadian Registered Safety Technician (CRST) this program offers a pathway to fulfilling the requirements set by the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professional:
Start by enrolling in and completing the Certificate in Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental Systems (COHSES) program, then proceed to study the Diploma in Safety, Health, and Environmental Management (SHEM) program. This combination will cover the educational hours required for an OHS certification from BCRSP.
