Online MBA: Course structure & details
Each course in the online MBA program requires you attend one virtual class (vClass) a week. vClasses take place in the evening between Monday and Thursday, at the earliest 6:00 p.m. EST, and typically last 1-2 hours.
You'll begin your studies by completing a series of foundational courses, each lasting 11 weeks, that offer a deep dive into economics, organizational strategy, and leadership theory. The courses contain a combination of individual assignments and group work projects, giving you plenty of opportunities to network.
Once you complete your foundational courses, you'll begin your selected specialty leadership stream: you can choose 1 stream out of 11 available options. Each stream focuses on a different business area, such as human resource management, consulting, or business analytics.
The final stage of your online MBA program is the group integration project, where you will apply all that you have learned to a real organization of your group's choosing. Your group will have 14 weeks to complete the integration project before your final presentation. The International Field Study (IFS) is offered as an option within the Global Capstone Project, and offers you the chance to travel internationally in order to help develop a deeper understanding of the complexity of doing business in the global economy.
