Dr. Hobeck’s mission is to help others achieve their goals while fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration and diversity at the University of Fredericton. He brings a unique combination of skills and expertise to the institution, including a passion for lifelong education. 

Dr. Hobeck oversees the academic quality, integrity and excellence of our programs and faculty. He has more than 15 years of experience in higher ed, ranging from teaching, curriculum development, faculty support and academic administration. He enjoys working with a dynamic and dedicated team who share his vision of providing accessible, relevant education. 

Stacey oversees the University’s financial health, planning, forecasting, reporting and all core finance functions. She brings a broad background in financial leadership, having served in senior roles in both the public and private sectors. She enjoys working with collaborative, high-performing teams that emphasize accountability, innovation and shared success.

Stacey believes success is measured not only in financial strength but in the opportunities we create for students to learn, grow and achieve their goals. She works to achieve this by improving processes and enhancing reporting and forecasting capabilities so every student has the tools and resources to benefit from the exceptional experience that our university offers.
