Admission requirements

Applying to become a UFred student is easy and straightforward. Follow the simple instructions on our How to Apply page to begin your journey. Our helpful Program Advisors are here to support you along the way. You're encouraged to apply.

Once you've submitted your online application and uploaded any required documents (e.g., transcripts, resume), our Admissions team will review your materials. We typically email admission decisions within two weeks of receiving a complete application.

If you’ve completed courses at another institution, you may be eligible to receive transfer credits toward your UFred program. Submit your transcripts and course descriptions with your application, and our Admissions team will review them. You can expect a decision within one week of submitting all required documents. Our Program Advisors are also available to guide you through the process.

For the MBA, an undergraduate degree with a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale is required.

For the EMBA, we offer a flexible admissions pathway for applicants without an undergraduate degree. In this case, you may be:

• Conditionally admitted (requiring a 3.0 GPA or higher in your first 3 courses), or

• Referred to our Pre-MBA program, which includes three 5-week courses in Business Communications, Economics, and Accounting.
