Practical ways to fund your studies
Wondering how to finance your education? There are several options available in Canada, from student loans to employer reimbursement and more. Let’s explore the possibilities so you can make an informed decision.
Government student loans
Provincial loans exist to support you. Amounts vary by province, program costs and whether you’re a full-time or part-time student. Details on how to apply within your province can be found on the Government of Canada website.
The following programs at the University of Fredericton qualify nationwide (except in Quebec and British Columbia).
Certificate in Occupational Health, Safety, and Environmental Systems (not eligible in Nova Scotia)
If your program isn’t listed here, or if you would like more information, please contact someone on our support team. Your program may still qualify.
Your student loan journey
Student loan processing can take time. We recommend submitting your completed student loan application as early as possible, ideally three months before your program’s start date.
