Your pathway to national certification
Our OHS programs align with official national standards and follow the requirements set by the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (BCRSP), the group that certifies safety professionals in Canada.
BCRSP designations
The BCRSP offers two major designations in the OHS community: the Canadian Registered Safety Technician (CRST) and the Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP). Complete our Associate Degree in Occupational Health and Safety program and fulfill the education requirements necessary to write both the CRST and CRSP certification exams.
Just pursuing your CRST designation? Consider our Certificate in Occupational Health, Safety and Environmental Systems. The shorter program is perfect for people who need foundational OHS skills quickly or who want a credential before moving into their degree.
Visit the BCRSP website to learn more about the CRST or CRSP designations.
