Safety Training: An Introduction to Fundamental Principles

The International Network of Safety and Health Professional Organizations (INSHPO) Professional Capability Framework identifies training as a key capability for OHS professionals and practitioners. This capability includes identifying training needs, designing and conducting training, and supporting training and skill development in the workforce. The primary purpose of safety training is to provide workers with the knowledge, skills, and understanding they need to undertake their tasks in a safe manner.
