Please join us in celebrating our scholarship recipients. They show up regularly in community halls, rinks, gyms and meeting rooms because their community matters to them. They embody that spirit of civic engagement, reminding us that education and community advancement often come together for the greater good.
By recognizing MBA and EMBA students who give their time and energy to others with a $1,000 credit toward their tuition, these scholarships affirm a broader mission: to support education that uplifts communities and creates lasting positive change.
“This scholarship will help support my ongoing learning and commitment to personal and professional development, while allowing me to continue to pursue my volunteer activities without the added pressure of financial challenges. I am grateful for this scholarship.”
From 2015–2022, Shayne completed over 2,400 service hours with St. John Ambulance. That kind of commitment speaks to a deep sense of responsibility for the well-being of others. Through long hours of service, Shayne helped build safer, more prepared communities, offering care when it was most needed.
“I believe in committing to the service of others and that leadership is demonstrated most effectively through service. This scholarship applied to the teachings of the University of Fredericton MBA program, will help me demonstrate these values in my professional career and through ongoing service to my community.”
“This scholarship will help to reduce the financial burden that comes with professional development, allowing me to focus on my studies and home life. I am extremely appreciative of the individuals who made the scholarship possible and have supported my career goals.”
In 2024 and 2025, Adam completed 300 service hours with the Hellenic Canadian Community of York Region. Through this work, Adam contributed to cultural connection, community programming and shared spaces that bring people together. His service reflects how civic engagement can help sustain traditions while strengthening the social fabric of a growing community.
“This scholarship will ease the financial pressure of my MBA so I can stay fully focused on my coursework, while continuing to support my students as a professor and fulfill my weekly volunteer commitments. It will also support my path toward a full-time academic role, allowing me to bring what I’m learning directly into the classroom and better support my students and community.”
Please join us in congratulating these well-deserving students.
