Recognition of transfer credits formStep 4 - Once you’ve provided the relevant information, we’ll let you know if you’re exempt from any courses in your chosen degree. Please note there is a fee of $100 for each recognized course. Once the process is complete, you will not be required to complete the recognized course during your studies at the University of Fredericton.
You may need to provide the following:
your CV with job descriptions detailing your roles and responsibilities
academic and professional qualifications
reflective statements explaining how you apply knowledge and skills in the workplace (more info can be provided by our Program Advisors)
What is an academic pathway?
Academic pathways are established when two institutions set up a formal articulation agreement between programs. This agreement includes a review process of the curriculum of both programs, to ensure alignment and maximize transfer credit.
With an academic pathway, you're ensured that your prior learning at an instittution will be recognized as credit toward the program you're transfering to.
Current pathway options
Columbia Southern University (CSU): UFred graduates may transfer their credits and certificate hours to CSU and continue working towards a bachelor's degree in a variety of degree fields.
Lambton College: Graduates of some Lambton programs who hold a bachelor's degree will be considered academically qualified to apply to UFred's MBA program.
